Behind the lens
Spending more than two decades behind the lens, my passion for capturing the world's beauty through photography only deepens with time.
My venture into the art form was first inspired by my oldest brother, whose unique perspective as a well-established photographer ignited my own interest in the medium. At 14, I approached my father with a small request: to borrow his 35mm Miranda Sensorex. Little did he realize, that moment would mark the beginning of my endless love with photography.
Those early days were spent immersing myself in the classic format of black and white 35mm film, often capturing my friends skateboarding. It was during this time that I taught myself the skills of lighting, composition, and exposure, all while learning the importance of patience, precision, and attention to detail - skills that continue to define me to this day.
Moving into digital opened up a world of creative possibilities, allowing me to explore color, texture, and mood in ways previously unimaginable. Yet, amid the rapid evolution of technology, I still find myself rooted in the principles I learned with that faithful Miranda.
As a lifelong learner, I’m constantly seeking new ways to expand my skills and push the boundaries of creativity. I invite you to join me on this journey through the lens as I capture the world - one moment at a time.
