Behind the lens

I started shooting over 25 years ago, learning the fundamentals of light, composition, exposure on a Nikon FM2 and b&w 35mm film.

The tools have changed since then, but the way I approach photography hasn’t. I’m still looking for the right light, the unexpected detail, and the moments that make an image worth keeping.

I’m most interested in photographs that feel observed rather than arranged. Images with a sense of place, texture, atmosphere, and the quiet details that might otherwise go unnoticed.
